Cerco in zona app for iPhone and iPad

"Cerco in zona" is an app developed for citizens and tourists, aiming to give quick access to what you can find around your position: places, public services, itineraries, events, and so on.

Any information is geolocated, and shown on the map around your position, easily searchable via the search engine of the app. By entering one or more keywords you can find the nearest business or service available on a certain day and time; the integration with parking lots, local transportation (buses, shuttles, etc.) and information about roads, allows search results to be more effective and efficient.

With this project we want to increase the visibility of businesses and services that either are often unknown to citizens and tourists. We also want to provide a useful tool to geolocalize everything that citizens and tourists need, e.g. drinking water withdrawal spots, recycling places, public toilets, etc.

With "Cerco in zona" it is possible to view in the app everything that is normally represented on paper maps, with the advantage that all resources are geolocalized, shown on the smartphone around the users position, and reachable through the navigator in the smartphone.

The main service recipients are:
- businesses, that will be able to enter their personal data, their offices, availability hours and keywords to be searchable in the app;
- event organizers, who will be able to see all resources of the event geolocated in the app (event program, information points, paths for disabled people, affiliated businesses, parking, public transport, etc.)
- local administrations and tourist agencies (e.g. regional parks), which can insert in the app their services for citizens and visitors, local resources, tourist itineraries, parking lots / parking meters, transportations, and so on.

Moreover "Cerco in zona" offers to its customers an advanced set of marketing tools to promote their services to people in the area. These tools consist in displaying banners within the app and sending push notifications that can be customized with images and links.
